With which the research problem has been formulated. How does management affect the development of adventure tourism in Riobamba city, Chimborazo Province? Its general objective is to evaluate the management and its impact on the development of adventure tourism in Riobamba canton, Chimborazo Province; the research is non-experimental correlational; methodology has been worked on the collection of primary and secondary information through surveys of technicians of public entities linked to the activity and surveys of tourism operators according to the tourist cadastre of the Tourism Directorate. The validation of instruments and verification of specific hypotheses with statistical techniques such as Cronbach's Alpha, Chi Square and Pearson’s Correlation were perfonned. The present investigation analyzed the problem that has caused the canton Riobamba having adventure potential not to be positioned as an adventure destination, due to poor management of local governments to work together with tour operators who market the products. Based on these findings, a proposal was raised with the purpose of mitigating these deficiencies m the articulation of the public and private sectors, in order to consolidate existing products, identify new products and establish a direct relationship between product management and development tourism in the area, with the aim of creating greater tourist flow, which allows the redistribution of resources throughout the territory of the Riobamba canton and promotes its consolidation as an adventure destination. |
