Resumo:This article reflects upon Colombia's international policy, its priorities and challenges. From a description of traditional Colombian diplomacy, the author studies the relations between Colombia and the U.S. during the latter part of the 20th century; a relationship marked by the war on drugs, 'and characterized by cyclical ups and downs.
