| Resumo: | The Paraguayan coup d'état consummated in Paraguay to the constitutional president Fernando Lugo, in June 2012, highlight the role of the Paraguayan press as a leading actor in the new destitution formats of the region, showing its capacity to solidify a discourse around the senses that came to justify the parliamentary judgment. This work is based on the hypothesis that the hegemonic press, belonging to a highly diversified local bourgeoisie, in order to open a cycle of restructuring of the national economy linked to the new global dynamics of capital accumulation, provided a narrative of the crisis and built the representations and ideology to legitimize the impeachment. |
