| Sumario: | The objective of the research was to determine what type of evaluation allows a better development of analytical-critical abilities and skills, through its application in children of 2nd year of Elementary Education, of the Santos Avelino Sánchez School, Sucumbíos province, Lago Agrio canton. Since it has been observed in a large part of educational institutions, applying multiple choice tests which help to cover many topics in a short time, but become unreliable due to the random answers that can be given, limiting the development of analytical thinking. of students from an early age, which is why it becomes the weak link in the educational system. The research has a descriptive and preexperimental design, with a qualitative approach, for data collection the survey technique and observation were used as a direct method, applied to a sample of 12 teachers and 30 students. The results were that the vast majority of teachers have theoretical knowledge about the different evaluation techniques, but for ease they have continued using the traditional evaluation, structured with multiple-choice questions and in terms of students, better results were evidenced with the articulated evaluation with different techniques. In conclusion, the application of an articulated evaluation allows a better development of skills and abilities in the educational process, since in most questions it allows the student to observe, analyze and express his answer, while in the traditional evaluation it is limited. student analysis. |
