Sumario:The project consists implementing the E1 connection through two Asterisk servers using existing SDH equipment in the laboratory of Telecommunications, carried out up to 30 simultaneous calls, which is the ability of an E1. With the implementation of this project seeks to manage and ensure efficiently both economic and technological resources that offers a E1, for business use. Thus, it has three basic parts to the project: SDH equipment, hardware and software. For SDH equipment HUAWEI OPTIX 1500B, they have communication through optical fiber and each provides us with an E1. The hardware used on each server is the Digium card, which allows the connection to the E1 and simultaneously interact with Asterisk. On the software side, the protocol used for the correct configuration DAHDI between SDH equipment, hardware and software, guaranteeing the free software environment.
