Sumario:The objective of this research was to implement Process Management in the Teaching, Research and Linkage Units of Porcine and Bovine Herds at Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí Manuel Félix López, for the improvement of processes. Work was carried out in three phases to meet the proposed objective: exhibition, improvement and design of the monitoring and control of the processes under study, respectively. Among the scientific methods and research tools used, we can mention the analysis and synthesis of information, interviews, focus groups, Added Value Analysis, process records and modeling in Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) using the Bizagi Modeler software. Seven processes and four sub-processes corresponding to macro-processes of training, research, linkage and management were identified. It will be extended that the value-added index of the processes raised is below 75%, so they are deficient, detecting 65% of activities that add value and 35% that do not, based on these results were carried out improvement proposals. The Indicators Matrix was also opened and established as a tool for monitoring and controlling each process and its activities, which will contribute to making timely decisions and improving the process through the implementation of corrective actions.
