description The present investigation titled “Levels of contamination by Solid Waste in the city of Biblián in 2010 ”. Management plan. It focuses its interest on determining the management carried out by the authorities Municipal to improve the environmental quality of the inhabitants of the City of Biblián. The present study determines the great importance of the management administrative, which includes a series of elements fundamental, from its direction, organization, development of viable projects, to motivate investment in a management model that allows run recycling to improve the environment. The generation and characterization of municipal solid waste from the Biblian city, are very important parameters for decision making Regarding the projection and design of a comprehensive management system waste and final disposal thereof, therefore it must be put special Attention to what is the selection of the material and in what quantity it is produced. The research was carried out in the city of Biblian with the collaboration of the technicians from the Municipality of Biblian. The results obtained indicate that solid waste affects the children's health in greater quantity, because the accumulation of these in the playgrounds are a source of infection; they pollute the water because they are thrown into rivers, streams and pollute the air by the emission of gases into the atmosphere. Within this work, the amount of solid waste is analyzed and the to the conclusion that organic waste is generated in an amount of 81.90% and 18.10% is inorganic waste. ....................

Plan de manejo. Centra su interés en determinar la gestión que realizan las autoridades Municipales para mejorar la calidad ambiental de los habitantes de la Ciudad de Biblián. El presente estudio determina la gran importancia que se destaca la gestión administrativa, la misma que comprende una serie de elementos fundamentales, desde su direccionamiento, organización, desarrollo de proyectos viables, para motivar a invertir en un modelo de gestión que permita ejecutar un reciclaje para mejorar el medio ambiente. La generación y caracterización de los residuos sólidos municipales de la ciudad de Biblian, son parámetros muy importantes para la toma de decisiones en lo que se refiere a proyección y diseño de un sistemas integral de Manejo de residuos y disposición final de los mismos, por ello se debe poner especial atención a lo que es la selección del material y en qué cantidad se produce. La investigación se realizo en la ciudad de Biblian con la colaboración de los técnicos del Municipio de Biblian. Los resultados obtenidos, nos indican que los residuos sólidos afectan a la salud de los niños en mayor cantidad, porque la acumulación de estos en los parques infantiles son un foco de infección; contaminan el agua porque son arrojados a ríos, quebradas y contaminan el aire por la emisión de gases hacia la atmosfera.
