Descripción
Sumario:At this research a muscular spring small diameter Flexinol is evaluated; an alloy of nickel and titanium also called nitinol, which has been given a very limited application as a source of clean energy, itself is a material with thermal and elastic memory, these two behaviors can generate force, motion and energy storage. The area of research focuses on identifying the type of wire and other elements or components to be used in a laboratory-scale prototype of a clean heat engine, in order to obtain suitable working temperatures and the ability to generate energy autonomously. The investigation established that the design of this prototype consists of three subsystems: A compound pulley mechanical subsystem, Flexinol spring and a generator. An electronic subsystem that will measure the voltage, amperage and speed generated. A data acquisition subsystem capable of displaying thereof. While it is true amperage obtained is in the order of 900 milliamps, this research is the basis for future work or projects adapting the prototype at larger scales.
