Description
Summary:ABSTRACT: The use of new technologies in teaching and learning implies a classroom context where teachers can efficiently integrate these tools, mainly if the project-based methodology is used as a link. In the Bashalan Intercultural Bilingual Educational Unit, there is evidence of regional connectivity and lack of adequate technological resources, which significantly limit skills development based on active learning methodologies. In this context, research was conducted on project-based methodology and its relationship with virtual learning environments to develop thinking skills. The research was conducted with a mixed approach, using the scientific method, non-experimental design, propositional, field, and bibliographic, and cross-sectional. A survey of knowledge of virtual classrooms was applied to teachers, and the level of integration of Eighth Year EGB students to virtual classrooms was recorded through checklists. The results obtained report that teachers have moderate difficulty in using virtual classrooms, and students show a low level in using technological resources for the development of thinking. As a result, a methodological guide was developed, based on interactivity and project-based classroom work, recommending that teachers improve their skills in using technological tools to guide students better.
