| Sumario: | ABSTRACT: The constructivist current brings with it a methodological model that improves the educational process and is considered a preponderant factor to encourage the student to construct their own knowledge, for this reason the main objective of this research work is to analyze constructivist learning in maker spaces for carrying out projects in the area of Automotive Electromechanics of the Guaranda Educational Unit where the beneficiaries were 64 third-year high school students and 5 teachers from the area of Automotive Electromechanics, coming up with the following hypothesis: Constructivist learning in maker spaces improves the realization of projects in the third year of high school students in the area of Automotive Electromechanics of the “Guaranda” Educational Unit, for which a bibliographic research was carried out describing the main concepts and characteristics of constructivism and maker spaces found in valid documentary sources, a field research which allowed identifying the state of the work areas and whether the Automotive Electromechanical workshops had maker spaces to subsequently carry out a descriptive research in order to describe the reality of the current situation of the problem and through this type of research determine the effects generated by the implementation of this methodology, this research had a mixed approach due to the quantitative data (survey) and qualitative data (interview) that were collected, having a non-experimental research design because it focused on analyzing the effects generated in carrying out projects in maker spaces with constructivist learning. The present research project presents the proposal of a methodological guide whose purpose is to provide feedback and guide the technical teacher on the different aspects that must be considered when applying constructivist learning in the development of projects, as well as after its application in the preparation of the activity, positive effects were identified on the student and on the project development process, accepting the proposed hypothesis. The application of the methodological guide in the development of projects was very important to determine the effects of constructivist learning in maker spaces in the realization of projects. |
