| Sumario: | The investigation ANALYSIS OF THE USED MATERIALS OF STUDY IN THE MASTER OF EDUCATION AT DISTANCE, had as purpose to determine the use of the study materials in the program of Master of Education at Distance of UNL, by means of the application of the scientific, descriptive, inductive, statistical methods and the technique of the survey carried out according to the indicators. Observing the survey, it was seen the necessity of increasing the motivation, the interest, the scientific curiosity and the knowledge when using study texts in the Education at Distance, with a correct delimitation of the problem, clear objectives, good interactivity, evaluation, selection of the means and a planning in a more amusing way that may contribute to the comprehension of the topics and outlined tasks. The didactic guides should be improved to drive to the specific knowledge, to the clear, precise and concise understanding; they should clarify doubts, containing all the aspects that lead to the achievement of significant learnings. According to the obtained conclusions, the study text should be adjusted to the scientific and technological advances; correcting the structure and planning of the shops and modules; the didactic guide should improve according to the students` requirements, having other techniques for the use of the virtual platform and solution of doubts that may happen in the learning process. For this end, it has been followed the limits proposed through the general objective, like it is to determine the use of the study materials in the program from the Master of Education to distance of the Loja National University, which makes possible that these ones may contribute in the best way to the academic work, formulating alternatives of improvement.
