Sumario:In the present work a study is carried out to determine the optimum temperature of fuel, from the C2H001 crude furnace at Refinería Amazonas 2 (RA2), to decrease its viscosity to values established in the design of burners of raw. It will take advantage of the combustion gases of the furnace that by means of a alternative energy system will improve combustion efficiency in the burners. Information was collected through work in field, both of burner operating parameters and the intake of RA2 reduced crude samples. Laboratory tests were carried out determined the kinematic viscosity of fuel, these data were reflected in a graphical representation of the viscosity-temperature relationship, finding from this forms the ideal temperature range, consequently its viscosity, of the crude reduced to burn in oven C2H001. Using Hysys V7.1 software, performs the simulation of a coil and a heat exchanger, to determine the heat transfer areas of said equipment, with which the reduced crude will reach a temperature of 100ºC, viscosity of 170 SSU and a 75.26% combustion efficiency.
