Sumario:The present investigation entitled Sensory Strategies "My Body, my world" for the psychomotor development in the children of Initial Education of the Specialized Educational Unit "Carlos Garbay" of the parish Velasco, Canton Riobamba, Province of Chimborazo, arises from the needs of students with intellectual disabilities from 3 to 5 years and aims to contribute to their psychomotor motor development. It is based on the Curricular Strengthening of the Initial Education Level and the significant learning of Ausubel. In addition, it conceives the Sensory Strategies as a set of playful activities that stimulate the senses, while the psychomotor development is a stage of evolution and permanent learning which allows a series of changes in the motor in which coordination, balance, rhythm, laterality and depth The research is quantitative, of non-experimental design, by the propositive level, by the place, field and bibliographic; the method used to fulfill the analysis and interpretation of results the deductive method worked Children with intellectual and motor disabilities The results indicate that with the level of psychomotor development of children is low The work concludes acptando the hypothesis raised, ie that, in fact, children have a low level of motor development. Faced with this reality and as an alternative to address the problem, we present the proposal of a sensorial strategies guide that is composed of a motor area, through the joint development of activities aimed at strengthening visual, auditory and gustatory in children who present the condition of motor and intellectual disability.
