Sumario:Playful strategies play a fundamental role in the development of gross motor skills. Through this, the child will learn from the external interaction of his context and his body. Within this context, there are the parents of families, and the school, the same ones that play an important role in the motor development of the child. Thus, as this research project aims to describe playful strategies for the development of gross motor skills in 4-year-old children, both research variables are theoretically based, giving structure and support to this work. It is of a mixed approach and descriptive scope, research techniques such as interview, survey and observation were used. To collect the information, the research instruments were applied, a guide to questions for the director and teacher of the institution, a questionnaire for parents, an observation sheet for students of the "Susana Sampín de León" Fiscal Educational Unit. Evidencing that there is a lack of knowledge about playful strategies, the little participation of parents and the lack of physical spaces and didactic resources to carry out playful activities that allow strengthening gross motor skills. Finally, it is suggested to train the teacher so that he can apply playful strategies in the classroom that allow the development of gross motor skills and involve the parent through workshops for parents and allocate playful spaces for the constant performance of activities.
