| Sumario: | The criminal justice system of our country is in charge of executing the penalty of imprisonment imposed on a person who has committed an offense contrary to the legal system, in this process the defendant should be rehabilitated so that at the time of his release be incorporated to society, this rehabilitation treatment must be met by sociological, psychological, crafts, educational, disciplinary, related to its environment with the family bond, these parameters must be met rehabilitation somehow in terms of resources held by each center social rehabilitation . It should be noted that most social rehabilitation centers do not have the necessary resources, infrastructure first is unsatisfactory and reduced relative to the number of persons deprived of liberty, basic services have been deteriorating markedly as the furniture specifically in Loja , Social Rehabilitation Center lacks the necessary infrastructure so there is severe overcrowding of the punished, violating their basic constitutional rights because of this situation failed to qualify for the maximum internal sites , medium and minimum security, so there is domestic violence issues and many sundry situations that affect the loss of values. Prior to data collection and observation technique I have found that in the Social Rehabilitation Center of Loja there are small educational projects that could be approved only basic education and high school, there need to be projects that benefit their personalized rehabilitation sequential and comprehensive way, taking into account the knowledge, skills and domestic skills Similarly, lack of employment and various work activities to which inmates can engage optionally and voluntarily according to their ability, in addition to that there is no attention sociological, psychological and medical to provide permanent care to inmates, all these shortcomings affect the ineffectiveness of this center in what concerns the rehabilitation and social reintegration of inmates. It is unfortunate that the prison system in general, le Social Rehabilitation Centers, have not been successful in our country, because there are multiple failures by infrastructural planning, execution, and in the economic sphere really do not perform properly with the aim of rehabilitating prisoners, as they have become places where people morally and humanly degrading, and leave society to continue to commit crimes. As a mechanism to ensure adequate rehabilitation of those convicted and to forewarn their integrity as human beings, were established several objectives focused on the prison system, established with absolute clarity in the Code of Execution of Sentences, which favor internal letters which in reality applying the evaluation did not detect changes, for this reason, the national government has proposed to implement a new model of prison management, which is important to continue to keep for the future to have an effective prison system that meets your objective that cannot currently say that they have produced good results. Consistent as a contribution to the criminal legal system rehabilitation and social reintegration, I considered opportune to perform this research, which aims to demonstrate, based on actual data, which is necessary to implement a structural reform of the Code of Execution of Punishment and Rehabilitation Social, and generally the criminal justice system that favors the inmates of various prisons, to meeting the objectives of the Ecuadorian prison system. |
