| Sumario: | In the present investigation, a housing of social interest was validated structurally, which has an innovative constructive system of sandwich panels. To validate the house, several experimental studies were carried out, including field tests and laboratory tests, both on the materials and on the housing prototype. For the tests, the ASTM standards and the ACI-318 code were used, under the technical direction of the Housing Research Center of the National Polytechnic School. From the studies carried out, curves of capacity, rigidity, stresses and modulus of elasticity of the materials were obtained, showing that the house presents a good behavior before vertical and lateral loads (seismic actions). Additionally, an analytical study was carried out with the help of a three-dimensional mathematical model to know the distribution of efforts in the house and compare them with the efforts obtained experimentally. The obtained results showed that the house is apt to resist gravitational and lateral solicitations that the NEC-15 standard requires |
