Sumario:This project of investigation comes from the urgent necessity that the companies have both public and private, to get a Risk Management System that allows identifying, evaluating and controlling, with the purpose of protecting the health of workers and the facilities of the company in general. With this background, the development of the present project is initiated, with the purpose of evaluating the major accidents and their incidence in the accidentability in workers of the Company of Plastic Assemblies FRANKPLAST S.A.", by means of the identification of the risk factors, and in especially the risk of fire present inside the company. Subsequently, the fire risk will be assessed using the Meseri method, and based on the results obtained a plan for a fire emergency will be designed, which includes the measures of prevention and protection to be taken before, during and after an emergency. In addition, the development of the emergency plan to identify hazards and predict the effects will allow for the incorporation of the most effective security measures that help to mitigate the risk of fire and especially to protect the lives of workers. Also, in this project several scientific methods and techniques of data collection were applied such as: surveys, matrix for identification and general evaluation of risks and the matrix for fire risks evaluation, the ones that allowed to obtain accurate information in each work position and served as input to propose effective control measures based on the estimation and qualification of the fire risk obtained during the evaluation.
