It was concluded that by knowing the behaviour of consumers, the company established a comparison, analysis and relationship of the results obtained, thus making it easier to apply market strategies and build customer loyalty.En la presente investigación se evidenciaron cada uno de los componentes del mercado, lo cual dio como objetivo el análisis de los elementos más influyentes como es el caso de la Asociación de producción textil Telar de Oro, Asoprotexteo. El enfoque del estudio de mercado tuvo una metodología descriptiva incluyendo las encuestas realizadas a 89 personas de distintos estratos sociales de la ciudad de Machala, donde se plantearon preguntas en base a la ocupación del consumidor, oferta, demanda, precio y los canales de distribución. Además se comprobó que en el proceso de las ventas es fundamental conocer a los clientes, necesidades y su decisión de compra, de tal forma que la empresa llegue a tener éxito en las actividades comerciales.
