| Sumario: | This article presents an analysis of school dropout that aims to know the causes of school dropout before and during the COVI-19 pandemic in the Andean Mission Educational Unit, with the firm purpose of addressing it and providing improvement proposals for the benefit of the educational community, which has emerged before and during the pandemic in the Andean Mission Educational Unit. To arrive at this research, the inductive and deductive methodology was used with a qualitative and quantitative approach, to obtain the information, the type of documentary-bibliographic and field research was used, reviewing different bibliographic and field sources because the population was approached.; the technique that was used is a survey of both teachers and students and its instrument to carry out was a questionnaire. The investigation has several points that are: in the first chapter a brief reference is made to the problem and the justification of the investigation, as well as the review of the literature that specifies the state of the matter; in the second chapter mentions the methodology used, the method, materials and resources are detailed; the third chapter reflects the results applied to the population. The conclusions of the investigation determined that there are students who dropped out of the educational system, where the main cause is the economic factor; Finally, the results of the research collect data on the current situation of the educational unit on educational abandonment, creating a proposal to reduce the dropout rate. |
