Descripción
Sumario:ABSTRACT: This research aims to determine aggressive behaviors in high school students at the Napo Educational Unit in Lago Agrio canton for 2022 - 2023, considering aggression as a behavioral response that seeks to harm or dominate others. Specifically, it focuses on the types of impulsive and premeditated aggression in students and their relationship with gender. Methodologically, it has a mixed approach with a non-experimental design. According to its level, it is a descriptive correlational study conducted in the field and of a cross-sectional nature. The technique used is the CAPI-A Test with its instrument, the questionnaire. The study population consisted of high school students at Napo Educational Unit, and the sample was non-probabilistic intentional, including high school students. Excel software was used for data analysis. The main results indicate that female high school students are more inclined towards impulsive aggression than male students. However, no significant differences were found regarding premeditated aggression between both genders. These results highlight the importance of considering gender when addressing impulsive aggression in adolescents and underscore the need for specific approaches to manage their impulsive responses and aggression control strategies Keywords: aggression, adolescents, impulsive emotions, premeditated
