The context is based on the consideration of the evolution of traditional exports as an instrument that benefits from trade agreements. The methodology used is related to the descriptive statistical analysis and trend models for forecasts applied to study variables such as shrimp production and exploitation. The main contribution is that for each situation a certain trend model is applied and chosen according to its lowest level of prediction error……..El presente trabajo de investigación lleva por título ACUERDO COMERCIAL EN LAS EXPORTACIONES DEL SECTOR CAMARONERO. El problema al que se intenta dar un criterio de solución es, dado que la economía ecuatoriana es dependiente de las exportaciones petroleras y tradicionales, le favorece o no firmar acuerdos comerciales para incentivar tales exportaciones. El contexto se basa en la consideración de la evolución de las exportaciones tradicionales como instrumento que se beneficie de los acuerdos comerciales. La metodología usada tiene relación con el análisis estadístico descriptivo y modelos de tendencia para pronósticos aplicados a variables de estudio como la producción y la explotación de camarón.
