| Sumario: | With the signing of the concession of the docks of Port Authority of Puerto Bolívar to the multinational Turca Yilportecu SA, this port will be administered under the modality of the Public - Private Association for fifty years, allowing the concessionary State to set the policies Of management in the logistics and transport of exported fruit. One of the first decisions of the company Yilportecu S.A. Is the increase in port fees for stowage and other services, ranging from the truck that enters with the banana boxes to the port yards and are transferred to the vessel, under the Management Agreement of the springs of A.P.P.B. This increase has generated a general reaction among the exporters and banana producers of El Oro, its increase in the export costs of the banana box affects the level of competitiveness in international markets and with this to the producers. The main objective of this study is to study the impact on the income of the banana exporters in El Oro caused by the increase in the port charges of stowage and other services implemented by the company Yilportecu.
