Sumario:Communication is one of the most affected processes in people with autism spectrum disorder. It manifests itself in a non-functional way. It is commonly appreciated lack of communicative intention and reciprocity, the use of decontextualized phrases of the communication situation, echolalia, pronominal inversion, dysprosodia, non-use of gestures with a communicative nature, among other expressions. The persistence of these communication problems, despite receiving language therapy, together with difficulties in managing emotions, isolation and rejection were evidenced in an initial study carried out in children with autism spectrum disorder, aged 3 to 5 years, who attended the Isaac Integral Psychoeducational Center………
