Resumo:This study was aimed at evaluating the psychosocial risks existing in the work environment of administrative staff and university teachers, to know the state of physical, mental and social health that workers have at the time of executing the task and thus be able to implement preventive measures and continuous improvements that allow them to work in safe and healthy spaces and jobs. Non-experimental, exploratory, descriptive field research was carried out, with a quantitative and transactional approach. The Psychosocial Risk questionnaire was applied, validated by the Ministry of Labor of Ecuador (2018a), which has 58 items, grouped into eight dimensions. The data obtained in the survey were analyzed with the data tabulation tool of the same questionnaire. Among their general results, it was evidenced that 76% of those surveyed perceive that there is a low risk, 22% think that the risk is medium, and 2% believe that there is a high risk in the dimensions of workplace harassment and working conditions. considered as high risk by the teaching stratum that works at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, Esmeraldas Campus (PUCESE). It is concluded that a plan of preventive measures and the Program for the Prevention of psychosocial risks must be developed, in accordance with the regulations of art. 9 of the Ministry of Labor.
