From the xenophobic problem generated in social networks through the internet, these manage to revive ethnic complexes that bare and make explicit the mestizo being.El presente trabajo se enfoca en analizar la construcción de la identidad nacional ecuatoriana, para lo cual se ha tomado como referencia al concepto “mestizo”. El resultado de un estímulo externo entendido como la migración venezolana, es lo que permite rastrear significativamente las representaciones de identidad en torno a la implicancia de un proyecto de nación.
