Resumo:To enable roaming and mobility of users on campus "Finca La María" Access Point must be placed so that there is overlap or (Overlapping ) between the radii of coverage, the Access Point intermittently emit some packages called Beacons when a device too far from an Access Point lost the signal. If there is overlap Beacons begin to capture another Access Point to which you are targeting. There are internal and external users with a notable increase of architecture teams Wi-Fi standard IEEE 802.11 including smartphones and tablets with unmet needs in order to connect to the wireless LAN through comparative analysis techniques roaming. I hope to meet both general objectives as outlined specific that urges this project as analyzing the different techniques roaming in order to compare, evaluate and design a solution to the problem it will be evaluated to verify a positive impact on Management Technology State Technical University of Quevedo. Although each environment is unique networking this research aims to achieve high availability and desire to get results as scalability, reliability and manageability. Campus "Finca La María" extends in a geographically large area and therefore requires a wireless LAN that is powerful and reliable. One strategy will be to assess the power of the Access Point from different manufacturers in order to obtain performance, robustness, configuration, administration and expenses so that research is met. The budget for the implementation of the project under study by which identify the different costs totaled $ 23,895.60 usd plus tax law.
