| Resumo: | ABSTRACT: The present research aims to determine the degree of influence of cultural identity and community tourism development at San Juan parish area; a situational diagnosis and analysis of supply and demand was carried out. Having sustainable development as a priority where it seeks to enhance local capacities and initiatives, resources, and the participation of government entities. The study is descriptive, documentary, quantitative, explanatory, and field investigation. The design research is non-experimental because a total of 110 surveyed were studied in an established period, aimed at those who participate in the community tourism centers: Casa Condor, Chakana, Tambohuasha and Waman Way; the results were processed in the IBM SPSS 2.2 program, where it was possible to symbolize the great acceptance that they have with everything related to Cultural Identity, Community Tourism and Territorial Development, in the same way the interest they express in supporting the implementation of a strategic plan to strengthen and develop community tourism as an alternative for the territorial development and the level of reliability of the instrument applied to the independent and dependent variables were demonstrated with Crombach's Alpha. Finally, the strategic plan for the development of community tourism was designed, considering the currently existing problems, considering the most pressing requirements and needs regarding the development of community tourism while maintaining its cultural identity. For which the philosophical and strategic framework of the plan was established through the development of the mission, vision, and strategic objectives; and then the strategies of the plan contained in four strategies related to the elaboration of community tourist packages, creation of a community tourist map, design of a community tourist corridor and the design of a training plan focused on the quality of service of the community were designed.
