Sumario:ABSTRACT: The use of didactic strategies during the teaching-learning process is important, therefore, “THIS RESEARCH AIMED TO PROPOSE A DIDACTIC STRATEGY BASED ON VIRTUAL TOURS FOR THE TEACHING OF HISTORY IN THE THIRD YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL AT THE CAMILO GALLEGOS TOLEDO EDUCATIONAL UNIT”. The research had a quantitative approach, with a non- experimental design, it had a diagnostic and descriptive scope, with a well-intentioned objective, it was a field study, and of a cross-sectional type. For a greater reliability in the information, the validation of research instruments was carried out by experts with the result of "Excellent". The study was carried out with the total population of third-year high school students, a total of 111 students; the data were obtained through the application of surveys. The results show that the students are able to use the Information and Communication Technologies and interactive virtual tours, in addition to considering they were positive during the Learning of History, on the other hand, the lack of use this technology of some teachers and institutions during the learning process. It was concluded that, although students have access to virtual resources on the Internet, they have not been sufficiently motivated by teachers, on the other hand, the importance of having access to virtual network resources on the Website for education, because of the significant contribution the teaching-learning process.
