| Summary: | At present, there is a vertiginous process of convergence of values and knowledge. A leading role, undoubtedly, is playing Artificial intelligence (AI). This is included in multiple fields of human activity, including not "thought" or anticipated, such as logistics, manufacturing, automotive, finance, medicine, etc. Very important themes such as machine learning, pattern recognition, case-based reasoning, and more are incorporated intosolutions and processes every day. At the same time, or almost as a whole, the teaching -learning process has been explosively transformed, placing the student at the center of the process and innovating in everything related to learning spaces, strategies and methodologies, evaluation methods, content creation, etc. Here, too, the AI is opening up more and more spaces. The paper presents the main advances in the introduction of AI in education, current situation and perspectives. Finally, the issue of ethics, the values to consider in all this process, which, while realizing that it constitutes a threat, must accompany, care and promote the unquestionable opportunity of AI in education. |
