Sumario:This research work focuses on analyzing the influence of self-esteem in children with learning disorders in the Acropolis educational unit in the city of Guayaquil. The approach used in the study is mixed and made it possible to collect, analyze and link both quantitative and qualitative data. The research project was based on a theoretical level the methods: deductive-inductive; analytical-synthetic and modeling which was the basis for the proposal addressed to the students; and, at the empirical level, the application of observation, the interview and the survey allowed us to analyze the facts that arose in the reality of the selected institution. The intention of this research study was to provide a proposal that improves and increases the self-worth of the students so that they can handle themselves safely, and respect themselves in the face of the difficulties they go through in learning, thus living a schooling in a pleasant way and happy in which his own esteem is not affected but rather reinforced and improved. The proposal highlights the importance of the active and empathic participation of teachers since, together with the family, they are fundamental pillars in the socio-affective development of children………….
