Resumo:This academic work examines how assumptions and the risk management model are present in public policies influencing the municipal educational risk management model and how this impacts the educational community For this, it is proposed that the public policy of risk management adopted in the last decade, at the national and local levels, aims to impact the imagination of the educational community, to prevent the adverse effects of natural or anthropogenic threat. In the first chapter a review of the main theoretical streams is made based on disaster, vulnerability, risk, threat, risk management, resilience, public policy and educational community.
