| Sumario: | This article examines recent urban-rural dynamics present in Bogotá and Soacha. New categories of analysis come up to comprehend contemporary transformations in the urban and the rural scenario. In this article, the author presents a conceptual discussion about the latest processes of metropolization. At the same time that these theoretical approaches are reviewed, the author presents a comparative analysis that shows significant changes of the urban and rural areas in seeking the integral understanding of the interrelations between the country and the city. |
