| Resumo: | Banana production contributes significantly to the Ecuadorian agricultural sector, which requires alternatives that promote an efficient management of nematodes that affect their productivity. This research was carried out in the Beata farming, Babahoyo canton, Los Ríos province, recognized for its high banana production with the purpose of evaluating the effect of the application of efficient microorganisms in the production of Musa paradisiaca var. valery A completely randomized design was carried out with two treatments (T0) that corresponded to the control plot with traditional management of the farm and (T1) with application of bioproducts of the Healthy Soil-Healthy Cultivation Program (SS-CS) with a dose of 1L of Bacthon + 300g of Tricho-D + 100g of Micosplag with a frequency every 16 weeks with 100% mineral fertilization. The population of nematodes, root weight, number of healthy roots and the height of the son were determined. The populations of R. similis and H. multicinctus decreased significantly compared to the control. The genus R. similis showed a greater population during the period evaluated, which showed its high activity in banana roots. The weight of the roots was close to 250g, doubling the value of the control plots. The height of the son reached increments of 0.5m in relation to the standard. These results demonstrated the effectiveness of the application of beneficial microorganisms to the soil. |
