To achieve the objective set, a quantitative approach was applied as a methodology with a non-experimental design and a descriptive level. For data collection, the survey was used as a technique and a questionnaire submitted for expert validation as an instrument. After analyzing the results obtained, it is concluded that the teachers present low knowledge, especially in indicators such as the use of web 2.0 tools such as blog, wikis, podcast as an activity for the subject, use of applications for the creation of augmented reality such as educational resource in the classroom, use of cloud hosting tools to share educational material of the subject, and use of MOOCs as a complementary resource in learning. Based on these inputs, a proposal was made that consisted in the execution of training workshops for the teachers of the educational unit under study. The proposal was validated by three specialists and five users. The silver proposal was intended to strengthen the professional profile of the teachers involved, regarding the use of ICT in the teaching processEl presente informe de investigación, aborda una problemática relacionada con las necesidades de formación en Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) de los profesores en sus prácticas de enseñanza; se planteó como objetivo general analizar las necesidades formativas de los docentes en el uso de las TIC en el proceso de enseñanza de los subniveles de Básica Media y Superior de la Unidad Educativa Mariano Negrete. Para alcanzar el objetivo trazado, se aplicó como metodología un enfoque cuantitativo con un diseño no experimental y de nivel descriptivo. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó como técnica la encuesta y como instrumento un cuestionario sometido a validación de expertos. Luego del análisis de los resultados obtenidos, se concluye que los docentes presentan bajo conocimiento especialmente en indicadores como el uso de herramientas de la web 2.0 como blog, wikis, podcast como actividad para la asignatura, utilización de aplicaciones para la creación de realidad aumentada como recurso educativo en el aula, utilización de herramientas de alojamiento en la nube para compartir material educativo de la asignatura, y utilización de los MOOC como recurso complementario en el aprendizaje. Con base en estos insumos, se planteó una propuesta que consistió en la ejecución de talleres de capacitación para los profesores de la unidad educativa objeto de estudio. La propuesta fue validada por tres especialistas y cinco usuarios.
