Summary:In the present research work called :THE USE OF MUSIC AS EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE AND ITS IMPACT ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF MUSICAL INTELLIGENCE OF CHILDREN OF INITIAL LEVEL 2 OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE “ANTONIO PENA CELI” CITY Loja , PERIOD 2012-2013 . ALTERNATIVE GUIDELINES. This research has the overall objective: To determine the incidence of use of Music as Educational Resource Development of Musical Intelligence children Initial Level 2. The methods and techniques used for data collection and data analysis were: the Scientific, Deductive, Inductive, Analytical Synthetic, and Statistical Model method, the same that were used to explain and describe the impact of the use of the Music as a Teaching Resource Development of Musical Intelligence. As techniques were applied: a survey of teachers to determine the benefits of using music as a teaching resource for children of the Initial Level 2 of Antonio Peña Celi Educational Institute of the city of Loja; and Observation Guide, in order to identify the level of development of Musical Intelligence in children Initial Level 2 Antonio Peña Celi Educational Institute of the city of Loja. Empirical basis for analyzing information was obtained, and the results were used to the contrast with the theoretical foundation, important conclusions can benefit from the program noted that: the use of music as a teaching resource affect the development of musical intelligence, showing that in the investigated property, children have failed to develop well their musical intelligence as a result of the few activities that give music teachers.
