Descripción
Sumario:This case study describes and analyzes the learning difficulties that a child in the fourth grade of Primary school has. The study is carried out in a public school located in a neighborhood characterized by socioeconomic characteristics of precariousness and social conflict situations, in Esmeraldas city (Ecuador). The aim of identifying the specific educational needs of the student is approached from a systemic-family perspective in order to reach to the design of an adjusted, realistic and comprehensive educational intervention proposal. The techniques applied (in-depth interviews, document review and analysis, as well as the pedagogical evaluation – of own authorship- gave rise to the characterization of the difficulty as Poor School Performance. From the systemic perspective adopted, this led to action proposals in the personal, school, family and social reality of the student.
