| Sumario: | Low back pain is the most frequent reason for outpatient care consultation, and it occurs between the ages of 40 and 50. It is estimated that at least 70% of people have ever suffered from low back pain, and 50% of them have been off work for this reason, of these, 50% debut with specific low back pain and 10% present irradiation of pain to the lower limbs. Being the main cause of medical consultation in workers of Weaving Preparation Support of the textile company Vicunha S.A (Vicunha S.A Epidemiological Profile 2014-2015), we proceeded to Evaluate the Ergonomic Risk represented by the different activities of their position, using internationally endorsed methods such as the Ovako Working Analyzing System (OWAS) and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), the that demonstrated a high risk for the musculoskeletal system with immediate actions to be taken. |
