Sumario:The purpose of the research topic is to propose a guide of intercultural didactic strategies for the learning of Natural Sciences of the general education students of basic secondary of the Unidad Educativa Hispanoamèrica, Riobamba, who during their academic training process, have presented difficulties such as: low academic performance mainly in the area of Natural Sciences. The factors detected are the lack of training by teachers, the use of a traditionalist method, among others. Considering that the teaching-learning process implies the relationship of the triad of students, teachers and learning scenarios, and making reference to the sociocultural educational paradigm of Vigotsky and the cognitive paradigm where we refer to great pedagogues such as Piaget, Ausubel and Bruner. The research is quantitative cohort, descriptive typology and purposeful level. Participant observation was applied as the main technique and the survey and questionnaire were used as an instrument. The population that was considered is the 344 students of the Educational Unit and the sample is 57 students. Finally, using intercultural didactic strategies in the different topics, the Didactic Guide was developed that will contribute to notably improve the development of naturalistic intelligence, thus obtaining a better academic performance in students. The proposal prioritizes didactic strategies with an intercultural approach such as: the survey, mental maps, debates, within which didactic components are established that can be used by the teachers involved, thus influencing the improvement of the academic performance of the students.
