The methodology used for this study was that of a semi-structured survey, with two components, the first of which are descriptive and referential about of surveyed and the second raising questions to carry out the market analysis of entrepreneurship, for this a sample of the population was evaluated, using a sample formula. The results obtained, it can be seen that 50% of the surveyed people used sugar as the main sweetener, compared to 13% who use or know about stevia, in addition 66% of surveyed are willing use stevia as sweetener, also a great percentage would buy the product in form of tea or powder. after analyzing the information obtained in the survey, it is concluded that the implementation of the venture is viable. |

Como objetivo tiene determinar la demanda y factibilidad de implementar un negocio local dedicado a la venta de plantas y derivados de estevia en este cantón. La metodología empleada para este estudio fue la de una encuesta semiestructurada, con dos componentes el primero de carácter descriptivo referencial de los encuestados y el segundo planteando interrogantes para realizar el análisis de mercado del emprendimiento, para esto se evalúo una muestra de la población total del cantón, mediante formula muestral. De los resultados obtenidos se puede observar que un 50% de los encuestados utiliza como principal endulzante el azúcar, frente a un 13% que utiliza o conoce de la estevia, además que 66% de los encuestados están dispuestos a utilizar la estevia como endulzante, así también un alto porcentaje de probabilidad de compra del producto como té o polvo.
