Description
Summary:To demonstrate why tobacco severely harms health, it must be known how it interacts with the human body. 4000 harmful substances have been identified in cigarette smoke, of which at least 70 are carcinogenic. Of the total deaths that occurred worldwide in 2008, 63% were due to noncommunicable diseases, mainly cardiovascular and cancers. In developed countries, smoking is responsible for 30% of deaths in men. Understanding the logic of the behavior of individuals against cancer is complex, but necessary. Only the true vision of the phenomena could lead us to find the reality around malignant tumors and smoking, about how it is conceived, thought and understood, and whether cancer is considered a preventable disease or not, curable or incurable. It may be difficult to perceive that the long-term cost of the “aromatic leaf” exceeds the benefits of its commercialization, but when it is evidenced that the profits generated by the sale of tobacco are lower than the price of the damages caused to health, the controversy will be clarified between those who produce the poison and those who watch over the health of the populations.
