Resumo:The new Constitution in Ecuador recognizes it is necessary to provide all citizens, nationalities and the people of Ecuador with the conditions to be able of exerting their rights to freedom of thinking, expression, organization, and demonstration. From this perspective, communication plays a fundamental role. The project “Radio stations of Nationalities” progresses in the democratic deepening through a process that attempts to make explicit agreements become implicit. The work presented here offers some keys, from the diagnosis of the process itself, in order to reach the goals stated in the Law of Communication, in terms of frequency redistribution and intercultural aspects.
