Sumario:ABSTRACT: The objective of this study was to determine the levels of user satisfaction and its influence on the positioning of the Basic Hospital Dr. Publio Escobar in the population of the Colta Canton. The descriptive, non-experimental cross-sectional approach was used. This resulted in 367 patients surveyed in the year 2022, in which different questions were raised about user satisfaction and the positioning of the hospital; likewise, an interview was conducted with the health personnel of the establishment to find out the current status and needs regarding these variables. To substantiate the hypothesis, the Pearson correlation coefficient was used. The results show a very significant correlation between the variables studied. Thus, user satisfaction is directly related to the positioning of the hospital. However, several aspects that must be tested were verified. Based on these results, strategies are proposed to enhance user satisfaction and the positioning of the hospital to provide a safe, efficient, and quality environment
