Sumario:This article tries analyze the narrative construction of the novel Cruz de olvido, of the Costa Rica writer Carlos Cortés, from the function author and his relation with the narrative voices that are intersected in the text. Also, it is considered to review the constitution of the narrative I in contrast with the other, within the configuration of the individual and collective identitary discourse that determines the novel.
