Sumario:This paper studies eight Spanish words that stem from the Norwegian language: eslalon, esquí, fiordo, kril, lemino/lemming, rorcual, trol and veisalgia. For each one of them, it explains its uses and definitions in Spanish, the uses and definitions of the word of origin in Norwegian, some aspects of the Norwegian culture the word relates to, as well as its etymology.
