Sumario:Starting from the way of conceiving the community promoted by the leaderships of Mapuche women, in this essay we rescue the value of social structures that are not based on capitalist logic. At a time when we are suffering the effects of a social, economic, health and environmental crisis, to which is added that Western forms of authority have lost legitimacy, female leaderships become relevant. Collective thinking, companionship, friendship, loving reception, and community responses today are presented as plausible alternatives to patriarchal leadership.
