It aims to describe the foreign policy of Frente para la Victoria’s govenments occurred between 2003 and 2015, with the intention to inscribe the politics mentioned above in a context marked by a series of economic and political internal transformations. It tries to acknowledge foreign policy from a historical perspective that allows to relate it with tensions and debates within the civil society, and therefore, with expression over the State.Los gobiernos de Néstor Kirchner y Cristina Fernández se destacaron por su creciente alejamiento de los Estados Unidos, su acercamiento a países de la región sudamericana y la apuesta por un nuevo orden regional, la profundización de los vínculos con China y con Rusia, la participación de alto perfil en diversos foros internacionales y la insistencia en el reclamo por la soberanía de las Islas Malvinas. Este artículo desarrolla las características de esa política internacional.
