The empowerment of women constitutes one of the ways to reverse gender inequalities. In this sense, analyzing experiences that articulate empowerment with human rights contributes to indicate their achievements and gaps and enable their expansion. Thus, this text aims to discuss the women’s empowerment process articulated to the United Nations 2030 Agenda, taking as reference the experience developed with rural and urban women in Northeast Brazil by a feminist organization, in order to reduce the gender inequality relative to access, use and control of land, territory, decent housing and protection of nature. The study, based on qualitative research and content analysis, focused on the evidence of the process based on the relationship between the lines of action and their respective results. In general terms, it was observed that the work has been establishing the conditions to advance in the empowerment of women at the individual level; of the relationships within their movements of origin; and influence on public policies. Thus, its replication in other territories is considered possible as long as its guidelines and methodology are maintained, and its development is adapted to local specificities. |

En este sentido, analizar experiencias que articulan el empoderamiento con los derechos humanos contribuye para indicar sus logros y lagunas y posibilitar su ampliación. Así, este texto tiene como objetivo discutir el proceso de empoderamiento de mujeres articulado a la Agenda 2030 de Naciones Unidas, tomando como referencia la experiencia desarrollada con mujeres rurales y urbanas en el nordeste de Brasil por una organización feminista, con la finalidad de reducir la desigualdad de género en el acceso, uso y control de la tierra, el territorio, la vivienda digna y la protección de la naturaleza. El estudio, fundamentado en la investigación cualitativa y en el análisis de contenido, se centró en las evidencias del proceso a partir de la relación entre los ejes de actuación y sus respectivos resultados. En líneas generales se pudo observar que el trabajo viene estableciendo las condiciones para avanzar en el empoderamiento de las mujeres en los niveles individual; de las relaciones dentro de sus movimientos de origen; y de influencia en las políticas públicas. De esa forma, se considera posible su replicación a otros territorios desde que se mantengan sus directrices y metodología, y se adecúe su desarrollo a las especificidades locales.O empoderamento das mulheres constitui um dos caminhos de reverter as desigualdades de gênero. Nesse sentido, analisar experiências que articulam o empoderamento com os direitos humanos ajuda a indicar suas conquistas e lacunas e possibilitar sua expansão. Assim, este texto tem como objetivo discutir o processo de empoderamento das mulheres articulado à Agenda 2030 das Nações Unidas, tomando como referência a experiência desenvolvida com mulheres rurais e urbanas do Nordeste do Brasil por uma organização feminista, que tem por objetivo reduzir a desigualdade de gênero no acesso, uso e controle da terra, território, moradia digna e proteção da natureza. O estudo, baseado em pesquisa qualitativa e análise de conteúdo, teve como foco as evidências do processo a partir da relação entre as linhas de ação e seus respectivos resultados.
