With a cross-sectional, mixed-method data design, it was decided that a self-administered 58-item questionnaire granted by the Chilean National Commission for Accreditation (CNA-Chile) should be used, with a response rate of 44.6% (n =104), of which 83 were women and 21 men (79.8% and 20.2%, respectively). Complementarily, focal group interviews were conducted. Estimations were performed with an exploratory, statistical and content analysis. Thus, results showed that students’ satisfaction with the nursing program is acceptable, but not entirely satisfactory (x̄=2.68). This implies a gap to overcome, provided that the CNA-Chile quality criteria are to be met. Se trata de un estudio con un diseño mixto y corte transversal. Para tal efecto, se utilizó un cuestionario de la Comisión Nacional de Acreditación de Chile (CNA-Chile), de 58 ítems, agrupados en 10 criterios, autoadministrado en línea. La tasa de respuesta alcanzó a 44,6% (n=104), distribuida entre 83 mujeres y 21 hombres (79,8% y 20,2%, respectivamente). Complementariamente, se realizaron entrevistas mediante focus groups. El proceso de los datos se efectuó por medio de un análisis estadístico exploratorio y de contenido. De este modo, los resultados mostraron que el estudiantado tiene una percepción aceptable, aunque no de manera absolutamente satisfactoria, de la calidad del servicio educativo ofrecido (x̄ =2.68), lo que implica una brecha a superar, si se desean alcanzar los criterios de calidad de la CNA-Chile. Esto se traduciría en la necesidad de realizar una serie de adecuaciones curriculares y organizacionales en la unidad analizada.O presente trabalho busca descrever a percepção de estudantes sobre a qualidade educativa e organizacional de uma carreira de enfermagem, de uma universidade privada chilena. É um estudo com um desenho misto e corte transversal. Para tal efeito, utilizou-se um questionário da Comissão Nacional de Acreditação do Chile (CNA-Chile), de 58 itens, agrupados em 10 critérios, autoadministrados on-line. A taxa de resposta atingiu 44.6% (n = 104), distribuída entre 83 mulheres e 21 homens (79.8% e 20.2%, respectivamente). Além disso, as entrevistas foram realizadas por meio de grupos focais. O processo dos dados foi realizado por meio de uma análise estatística exploratória e de conteúdo. Assim, os resultados mostraram que o aluno tem uma percepção aceitável da qualidade do ensino oferecido (x̄=2,68), mas não de forma satisfatória, o que implica superar uma lacuna se desejam alcancar os critérios de qualidade desejados da CNA-Chile.
