Description
Summary:In this article we propose an approach of the Francisco Morazán’s heroization process in Central America focusing in the periods of his remains repatriation to El Salvador in 1848, the centenary of his birth in 1892 and its of his death in 1942. The purpose isn’t to give an “objective” dimension of Morazán but to analyze the symbolic and mythic dimensions that rebuilt the image of the historic character who became the incarnation of unionist ideal, a liberalism symbol and an emblem of democracy at the same time.
