Resumo:This writing shows how Monsignor Romero’s attempts to dialogue with the people of his time, in a context of extreme violence. The archbishop, whom everyone was referring to, tried in many ways to bring the actors into spaces for dialogue. The radicalization of positions by the ‘main actors’ of this time led to the failure of these attempts, and led the country, irremediably, towards the 12-year civil war that destroyed the country.
